the most wonderful time of the year...

It's been a great holiday season so far..

If you can forget about

ear infections

impetigo

sinus infections

colds...

...And the 458 dollars that slipped through my fingers and went towards Dr. visits, antibiotics, etc.

And I'm not here to complain, because I'm fully aware that there are people out there who have it extremely worse then us..

That is just life.
And really we don't have it bad at all...

Of course i am free to say that now that my antibiotics have kicked and I'm feeling like a new wife and mommy once again..

To the hubby who is in bed, just starting with a whopper of a cold or something, may feel like the whole world is out to get him...

Anyhow, its good to be feeling better and makes me in the mood to post "festivy"(i like to make up words) things...

 Parade of lights..
We attended this parade the first weekend in December..
This will get you in the Christmas spirit!!

 Hanging out before it began...
Watching for the next float to come by......

Each float and person in the parade had to have lights on it...

And like i needed another addiction in the food category...
I made this popcorn for the first time this year.. and fell in love...
Chocolate, peanut butter and popcorn in ONE bite?!..
Oh my!
And there was the making of the above said popcorn, white chocolate snack mix.. which were then packaged for fellow workers and neighbors..

I also made peppermint mocha mix for the packages..
I packaged some of them in jars which were used for gifts as well...

ready and waiting to be handed out...

One evening after bath time and when the children were clad in PJ's we headed to a park to see Christmas lights from the comfort of our vehicle..

Hearing the children oohing and ahhing over the light displays was well worth the $10 we spent to get in....

And then there was the decorations plopped here and there...
Just enough to make it feel a little bit like Christmas around here...

Don't worry..
I'll have more pictures coming...
Christmas time has just begun....
And I hope you and yours has a delightful one!!
