30 and 7 is what they turned!

June is a month where we celebrate 2 birthdays at our house.

Actually those 2 birthdays get celebrated the same day!

Usually Curtis ends up getting a ball, puppy, Thomas the train or another boy cake like that.

This year, though was the big 3- OH.

So i knew we needed to have a celebration just for him.

A week before his birthday we began the celebrations by throwing a party for Curtis.

It was a drop in evening filled with fun and fellowship. 

 

This is a neat way to get people to write encouraging notes and and advice for the birthday boy..

Then they are entered for a drawing. 

Curtis enjoyed reading each note!

The day/weekend of the birthday we headed to Charleston for the weekend.

 Eating ice cream in downtown Charleston.

Then a few days later we gave Carter his promised birthday party as well.

A party with all of his classmates.

7 years old. 

He was pleased with his hunting cake. 

I was pleased with how easy it was to put together.

 How is it that i have a 7 yr old child already?

Such a cute lil class. 

It was a great time celebrating another year of life and health to both of these guys. So blessed to have them in my life!
