This Sunday our little boy turns 2.
Yes, that little boy who was just born, like yesterday was it?
Ahhh. Time moves too fast sometimes.
And i must say that was the fastest 2 years and the longest 2 years.
He was the third born and the one that kept me up at night ALOT.
At almost 2 he now lets me sleep most of the night. Getting up 1 or 2 times a night seems like nothing compared to how it used to be.
He would make up for it by being so cute in the day, of course.
And we couldn't/can't help but love that little man.
Even if i didn't have any gray hairs on my head till AFTER he was born.
I will always blame my gray hair on him. :)
He is the first one of ours to be a daddy's boy. The other 2 always loved mommy over daddy.
But not Jamison.
Just today i asked him if he is Mommy's boy.
His reply is shaking his head no and saying "Daddy" :) And if its not daddy then it's "Papa".. :)
All of that being said--
Here are a few pics of his early birthday party we had the other night.
He does not have many words in his vocabulary yet.
But when talking about his upcoming birthday and cake. He would always say "B-ball!!"(baseball)
So we went with the baseball theme cupcakes.
Deep down inside i think even adults want to smile like this and soak up a happy birthday sung to them .:)
His favorite part of the whole party, i think.
We kept re-lighting and letting him blow them out.
He loves to give fist bumps and high fives. After he blew out his candles he was busy doing that to his older cousins for a little. :)
Discovering the candy on the counter and then finding a way to climb up and eat it.
Nothing like the pure innocence of a two yr old discovering his gifts.
Its so fun to be your Mommy and i'd do the sleepless nights all over again in a heart beat if i had to. :)
Aww what a cutie! Hope he starts letting you sleep all night soon!
